The volunteer provides an average of three hours per week of FREE child care services as mutually arranged between the volunteer and the student parent family. The program was initiated in 1993 and serves 20-30 families each year. Student volunteers are interviewed, have background checks and reference checks as part of the screening and matching process.
  • KIDS NIGHT OUT, a coordinated evening program that is scheduled approximately one Friday night per month to serve student parents who live in Eagle Heights or University Houses. Student volunteers organize these FREE child care activities at the University Apartments Community Center (Eagle Heights).
